David Labra

David Labra, as founding member of the award-winning band The Labra Brothers, bridges communitiess to cultures and uses strategic civic engagement, found all throughout his Hispanic/Latino heritage, education, and professional background, as the guiding forces for outreach, management, and logistical coordination. Since 2015 his work within the music industry has included writing, studio recording, and performing, along with systematic planning for touring and artist promotions.

David Labra is a Youngstown organizer and community activist, serving on various boards within the city. David has driven results around advancing partnerships, sponsorships, volunteer organizing, and community-centered programming, while expanding opportunities for local business and artists.

David is married to his high school sweetheart, Elena, a ceramic artist and local business founder. They both share a passion for small business and the arts.
