Green Youngstown, in partnership with the Mahoning County Solid Waste District’s Green Team, is responsible for administering litter prevention and recycling programs within the City.

Services

Green Youngstown services include:

Residential curbside and drop-off site recycling
Neighborhood litter control and illegal dumping enforcement
City-wide litter cleanup days, and support for any neighborhood cleanups throughout the year
Educational programs for children and adults
Special recycling drives for appliances, household hazardous waste, autumn leaves, Christmas trees, etc.

Electronics Recycling

Electronics recycling drop-off service is now available year-round:

Registration is required. Vehicles arriving without registering will not be serviced.
Households only. Businesses and organizations will not be serviced.
$20 fee for all TV's and monitors. All other items are accepted for free.
